    With a presence in Saudi Arabia for more than 40 years, TotalEnergies has developed a successful and mutually rewarding relationship with local stakeholders and partners, including Saudi Aramco, in the downstream sector.

    Refinery SATORP

    • It is a joint venture between Aramco (62.5%) and TotalEnergies (37.5%)
    • Located in Jubail. It is a world-class conversion refinery processing 460,000 barrels per day of Arabian Heavy crude oil.
    • First refinery in Mena region to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
    • The refinery employs 1,200 people.

    AMIRAL Project

    • A giant petrochemical complex will be integrated with SATORP.
    • It will produce a world-scale mixed-feed cracker (1.65 MTpa of ethylene), the first in the Gulf region to be integrated with a refinery.
    • Estimated investment is $7 billion from shareholders and $4 billion from third-party investors.
    • Additional units linked to the mixed-feed cracker will provide feedstock to a Value Park of high-value added derivatives units and specialty chemicals.

    Saudi Total Petroleum Products (STPP)

    • It’s a joint venture between TotalEnergies (51%) and Zahid Group (49%)
    • Markets a wide range of lubricants and specialty products.

    Tas'Helat Marketing Company (TMC)

    • It’s a 50% / 50% joint venture between TotalEnergies and Aramco

    SAFEER - Solar Energy Solutions

    • it’s a joint venture between TotalEnergies (50%) and Altaaqa Alternative Solutions LLC, an affiliate of Zahid Group (50%).
    • Company has been created in 2020

    Renewables Activities

    • Focusing on wind and solar projects.
    • Solar farm of 119 MWp, Wadi Ad Dawasir, is a Joint Venture between TotalEnergies (40%), Toyota Tsusho (40%) and Altaaqa (20%). Start-up date planned on beginning of 2025
    • Combining the know-how of TotalEnergies Renewables, PV module supplier SunPower, and battery provider Saft.
